Fresko in Stuttgart

Got fresh warm food via Lieferando within 30 minutes. It was delicious! Very fresh and perfectly seasoned.

The menu is very limited. They do not exist as a card, only as a table display. There is not necessarily something for children, but that is not the concept either. The fresco is probably not suitable as a family bistro after a trip to the State Gallery. The prices are appropriate to the level. We had a pumpkin and potato soup which was a real treat. The service was quick, friendly and very accommodating. We liked it!

Nice service and delicious food

We were told that there was no iced coffee left .... After we had decided on other drinks and received them, other customers ordered an iced coffee and they were served immediately. :(

Thursday evenings in summer is tango. The waiter has always no change money when man ordered some drinks. He does not come to the table to serve and just takes that (drinking) money when man orders at the counter. It's his trick.

Bad service. Despite few guests, we would be ignored for minutes. The waiter walked past us twice, and then talked to a friend. We preferred to go somewhere else ....

Was better so far, has not convinced me so much this time. Beef was a bit dry, the red wine probably longer open. Top: the staff

Authentic atmosphere à la James Stirling. Sensational service - competent advice - small extra wishes are of course fulfilled. Small, but top card. Very large selection of excellent wines.

Nice eatery and friendly service

On the day menu: attractive dishes and a delicious soup of the day: Today spinach cream soup with egg sting, it deserves 4 stars. Never eaten before - a pleasure here! I have sketched the view outside. Only a waiter - but friendly = long wait, therefore only 3 stars, the soup deserves 4 stars!

One can argue about the look. The food was very good. There are 5 stars above all for the brilliant wine concept. Each bottle can be bought at the standard retail price. Even if you don't want to eat in the restaurant. I'll be back

After the reopening, nice ambience, nice atmosphere, nice staff, unusual and reasonable prices. A perfect "stopover" after a visit to the State Gallery or during a break between permanent and special exhibitions.

I was able to prepare a wonderful evening for my parents in the fresco for my birthday. On the occasion of the event with George Bailey, the fresco served up a wonderful game menu. My mom was thrilled, not only was "George at the piano" the service and the food were wonderful and delicious. Especially a non-alcoholic sparkling wine from the Weinsberg estate. I got one for my mother at Christmas. This is great Concept in the fresco with the wine list, so I could buy an entire box at the normal retail price.

Every now and then I stop by for a glass of wine and I'm obviously very lucky to get good service and wonderful food. The wine selection is very good, especially because GG's are also available. In the summer it is worthwhile to come on Thursdays because there is tango dancing outside and the atmosphere is just wonderful. It will certainly take some time before the new fresco can build on old weddings, but as the saying goes: Good things take time! I will gladly come again.

Special and beautiful ... Has not been in the fresco for ages but I think it's really worth it. Had a wonderful unforgettable candlelight dinner, everything was fine and then I was at the "Majolini" wine tasting, which was sensationally special and a symphony for the palate. I will gladly come again.

Artful and unusual location in the heart of Stuttgart. A great change and an opportunity for your own events.

We were there for breakfast at 10.30am. The fresco opens at 10 a.m., which suggests that (as before) breakfast is offered. But there is no breakfast, not even a croissant. Instead, they wiped until 11, where the two women talked loudly and racistly ("the Negress never comes"). We neither.

12/11/2017 | 15:31 HJSTT Yesterday, Sunday (December 10th, 2017) I reserved places for 5 - 6 people. As you know it from 'upscale' restaurants, we 'well educated' waited shortly after the entrance for the waiter to be shown our table! This - by no means professional - waiter, who does not seem to know the simplest greeting rules, offered the free table at the (cold-drafty) entrance for the sake of simplicity. Not asking for the name of the reservation, no, also to be surprised that there are people who point out a table not at the entrance when making a reservation! I have such a sullen and absolutely unfriendly looking "auxiliary waiter" in a restaurant that claims "excellent German-Italian cuisine" and "we just love it!" to convey, not seen for a long time! That with the "enjoyment" is another unbelievable thing and at least the dish I chose yesterday (goose leg - bread dumplings - chestnuts, etc.) turned out to be an absolute hit in the oven! No bread dumplings or chestnuts were delivered - neither a regret nor a useful explanation was given when I asked. The waitress (or whatever this lady represents) referred to a blackboard that was hung behind the clothes rack, and which probably read that there was 'only' potatoes with it: 1. I did not see the blackboard, nor could I have read about the potatoes that were hidden by the clothes rack. But it was on the 'menu' on the guest table. And that is true. 2. Chestnuts - no trace of it as a side dish - but the outrageous explanation that it would be a chestnut sauce! Of course, there was no excuse, whether the kindness of the guests or the 'slightly' changed menu in this establishment. But one thing is absolutely 'certain': THIS BAD FRESCO HAS NOT GIVEN IT SO EARLY ... AND THE FIVE OF US GUESTS WILL NEVER SEE AGAIN! AT LEAST UNDER THESE CONDITIONS - AS EXPERIENCED - NOT!

The renovation was good for the restaurant / café. Is now modern and chic with very comfortable chairs. However, the service contributes significantly less to the feeling of well-being.
